This Cantonese staple is made with flat, wide rice noodles (called hor funn), bean sprouts, onion and beef or chicken. Chow funn can be tricky to make because it has to be stirred quickly over high heat and the noodles can easily break but don’t worry – our chefs have it mastered!
We are thrilled to have been voted the following awards in 2021:
Gold – Best Asian Restaurant Ingram’s Magazine
Runner-Up – Favorite Chinese Restaurant Feast Magazine
Thanks for all your support and love KC!
Bo Lings is proud to join the American Chinese Restaurant Alliance by bringing the We Wok Together initiative to Kansas City. This national program, sponsored by the Chinese Restaurant Foundation, provides free lunches to local first responders from April 15 – April 30. Officers in the Kansas City Missouri Police Department are able to come to one of our Missouri locations for a complimentary Meal of Love. We appreciate all you do for our city, officers!
Faced with an unprecedented situation, KC diners have made it a mission to rally around local restaurants and we want to THANK YOU. We are all facing touch decisions right now and we appreciate your support. We also want to reassure you that we are following all precautions set forth by the WHO, CDC and other health organizations to keep you and our staff safe. We are only offering curbside pickup at this time so please give us a call upon arrival so we can bring your order out to you, a more contact-free delivery.

Carryout Locations and Hours
Do you know the origin of noodles? The earliest record dates back to the Han Dynasty in China during 2nd century BC. Unleavened dough is mainly made from wheat or rice and is rolled, cut, stretched, kneaded, banged, flicked from a chopstick (true!), shaved, peeled or hand-pulled. Check out the variety of noodles that we use in our dishes at Bo Lings!
The first Bo Lings opened its doors on March 16, 1981. Who knew it would grow to 6 locations over the next 38 years? Thanks to you, our dear friends and customers, for your support over the years.
